Stone Pillar:  Random pattern flagstone

This is a random pattern flagstone pillar.  A pair make a nice decorative statement at the end of a driveway, or as 'fence posts' with wrought iron 'gates' between.

These can also be used as the foundation for the porch roof support timbers on a home.
