The side of this old building , had been parged with concrete as a quick 'repair' a number of years ago. The current owner wanted to cover the concrete 'repair' to make it more aesthetically pleasing.

I covered the concrete with flagstone. The crumbling foundation (below the deck), was repaired, covered with plywood, and then the flagstone laid over top.

It was not possible in this application, to use the same type of stone as was used in the original construction of the building.  The stone would have protruded too far from the side of building; so flagstone was the next best option. A vast improvement over the original concrete 'repair'.
